Job summary

PacifiCorp seeks an Environmental Supervisor to lead wind environmental technicians and contractors in Laramie, WY. You will ensure wildlife and environmental compliance, manage budgets, and guide safety and performance across projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences or related field, 5+ years in wildlife, and 3+ years in supervision. Travel to wind site locations is expected; after-hours readiness is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Wildlife Biology or Environmental Sciences; or equivalent degree.
• Minimum five years in wildlife field, preferably energy related.
• Minimum three years in supervisory role.
• Knowledge of wind energy environmental laws incl. BGEPA, MBTA, ESA.
• Data gathering, analysis and interpretation skills.
• Proficient PC skills for spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental and wildlife policies, permits and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day work of wind environmental technicians and contractors.
• Coordinate with wind environmental leadership on implementation and compliance.
• Hold staff and contractors accountable to safety, productivity and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee avian and other wildlife surveys and environmental monitoring.
• Interview, hire, train, and develop employees as assigned.
• Assist with scope of work documents, invoicing, and budget reporting.
• Deliver training to operations staff, environmental technicians and contractors.
