Job summary

PacifiCorp seeks a seasoned wind environmental supervisor to direct wildlife and environmental activities at wind plants. You will oversee internal and contract technicians, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety and cost-effective project execution.

Applicants should have a strong background in wildlife biology, experience supervising teams, and knowledge of national environmental laws. This on-site role is based in Laramie, with travel as needed and a focus on reliable, compliant wind

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Wildlife Biology or Environmental Sciences, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years in wildlife, preferably related to energy generation.
• Minimum of three years in a supervisory role overseeing employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with environmental and wildlife policies, permits, and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day wind environmental/wildlife field activities and contractors.
• Coordinate with leadership on implementation and compliance requirements.
• Hold staff and contractors accountable for safe, productive, and compliant work.
• Interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching as assigned by leadership.
