Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Crane Trainer to lead, document, monitor, and train staff to meet wind energy crane and lift planning safety requirements. The role requires interaction with a variety of staff at all levels in a fast-changing environment and a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

You will work with crane logistics, manuals, and safety standards, support crane training documentation, and help advance Mortenson's Crane Tracking system to ensure world-class

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction-related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience planning and overseeing crane activities.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with crane software.
• Current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with crane logistics, manuals, and safety requirements.
• General familiarity with crane operations, limitations and chart variations.
• Wind specific lift permitting.
• Wind specific FLAC data use and implementation.
• Wind specific sail factor implementation.
• Being an additional resource for the rest of the company outside of wind.
