Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Assistant Equipment Manager - Cranes, Project Coordination in Minneapolis, MN, on-site five days a week. The role coordinates crane planning, deployment, and commercial documentation to deliver crane solutions safely and cost-effectively across projects.

The candidate will grow into broader ownership of project portfolios, customer relationships, and continuous improvement while aligning with Mortenson's values and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction, equipment or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience; 8+ years in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary crane-program contact from planning to closeout.
• Translate requirements into actionable handoffs across crane planning, Fleet Operations, vendors and stakeholders.
• Maintain visibility of commitments and escalate risks affecting safety or cost.
• Manage documentation, deployment, and closeout of crane projects.
