Job summary

Peach State Freightliner - Forest Park seeks a Will-Call Clerk for second shift (3 PM - Midnight) to support retail center activity and processing of customer will-call orders and returns.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing receipts and credits, resolving complaints, and accurately pricing and billing goods. Requires 1–2 years in a customer-facing role and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Description

Position Summary: Individual supports retail center activity through assisting customer walk-ins, customer will call orders processing and returns processing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greet customers entering will call area.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Establish or identify prices of goods, services or admission, and tabulate bills using calculators and cash registers.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas and complete other general cleaning duties.
• Receive, verify, and store incoming material orders; pick required quantity of material for customer processing or staging.
• Cycle-count all parts bins as needed.
• Stage material in proper location for pick-up/shipment and/or loads on trailer.
• Communicate effectively with others within and outside the work group.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience being able to look up parts by VIN is a giant plus

Education and Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Years of Experience Required: 1 to 2 years

Experience required in: Customer facing role or warehouse order selecting.

• The ability to squat, bend or stoop on a regular basis. 3 to 6 hours per day
• Move about the warehouse order to retrieve parts 1 to 4 hours per day
