Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers is seeking a parts counter associate to assist customers with part lookups, ordering, and pickup. You will invoice and pull parts, help maintain orderly shelves, and greet customers professionally.

The role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication and sales skills. Responsibilities include assisting with stock counts, providing substitutes when needed, and supporting a clean, organized counter area.

Responsibilities

• Handles parts requirements of customers through counter service and telephone sales.
• Invoices and pulls parts correctly.
• Places parts in the appropriate area for customer pick-up or delivery.
• Greets customers with friendly and professional manner.
• Advises customer on substitution or modification of part when replacement is not available.
• Assist in keeping parts counter area clean and display shelves stocked and orderly.
• Assists with physical stock inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience being able to look up parts by VIN
• High attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills.

Education and Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirement’s:

• The ability to lift to 50 pounds
• The ability to squat, bend or stoop on a regular basis.
