Job summary

Peach State Truck Centers in Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a weekend schedule (Thursday–Sunday). You will receive, store, and distribute parts, assemble customer orders, and ensure timely processing and accurate inventory control.

On-site role with physical requirements and a pre-employment drug screen. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying orders, and moving stock to packing or shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse or related experience.
• Ability to read orders and locate items quickly.
• Forklift license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading trucks and verifying merchandise.
• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates.
• Read orders to determine items to move, gather, or ship.
• Move items within receiving, storage, or shipping areas for processing.
• Pack and label materials, count physical inventory, and perform cycle counts.

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday 7:00-6:00.

Thursday and Friday 7:30 - 4:30

Position Summary - This position receives, stores and distributes material and products within the partswarehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist with unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.

Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.

Move items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.

Sort and place items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.

Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and other employee traffic.

Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.

Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

Assist in counting of physical inventory.

Packs core and warranty for return.

Performs cycle counts.

Previous experience being able to look up parts by VIN is a giant plus

Education and Experience

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Years of Experience Required: 1 to 2 years

Physical Requirement’s:

• The ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly. 3 to 6 hours per day
• The ability to lift to 80 pounds regularly, 3 to 6 hours per day.
• The ability to squat, bend or stoop on a regular basis. 3 to 6 hours per day
• Move about the warehouse order to retrieve parts 1 to 4 hours per day
