Job summary

BurnBot, Inc. is seeking multiple Fire Module Crewmembers for our field-based module. This entry-level role supports prescribed fire and wildfire operations, UAS flights, and related tasks under supervision.

Candidates should be willing to travel, work outdoors, and be based at Placerville, CA or Medford, OR hubs with consideration for other locations. The role is non-exempt with an hourly rate of $27.00–$36.00, placement within the range based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• Travel up to 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured under company policy.
• Physical ability to perform demanding field work (lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Support the module in daily field activities (prescribed fire, wildfire, RX2 operations, DSI, UAV flights).
• Ensure work aligns with project scope, burn plans, SOPs, and company standards.
• Maintain proficiency with engine operations, RX2 machine, chainsaw, UAV, and related tools.
