Job summary

BurnBot, Inc. seeks multiple Fire Module Crewmembers for hands-on field work in wildfire and prescribed fire operations, including UAS and DSI tasks.

The entry-level roles will be supervised and cross-trained across the module, with preferred bases in Medford, OR or Placerville, CA but open to all locations. Positions are non-exempt with hourly pay of $27.00–$36.00, placement within range depending on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in wildland fire, fuels mitigation, vegetation management, or prescribed fire operations.
• Valid Class B CDL and ability to drive company vehicles to remote sites.
• Physical ability to perform demanding field work (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work outdoors in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Supports the module in daily field activities including prescribed fire, wildfire, RX2 operations, DSI, UAS flights, and others.
• Ensure work is executed according to project scope, burn plans, SOPs, and company standards.
• Maintain proficiency in engine operations, RX2, chainsaw, DSI assessments, UAV, and heavy equipment.
• Ensure equipment, tools, and vehicles are maintained and report needs to fire leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
