Job summary

BurnBot is seeking multiple Fire Module Crewmembers who will join a 5-person fire module tasked with executing wildfire, prescribed fire, UAS and related fire operations. This entry-level, hands-on role is field-based and will be supervised by the Fire Module Leader.

Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75%, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 lb. The hourly base pay is $27.00–$36.00, non-exempt, with placement based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in wildland fire or prescribed fire operations.
• Valid Class B CDL and FAA Part 107 certification are preferred.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and UAVs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily field activities for prescribed fire, wildfire, RX2, and UAV operations.
• Ensure work follows project scope, burn plans, and SOPs.
• Maintain proficiency with RX2, chainsaw, DSI, UAV, and heavy equipment.
• Maintain and communicate equipment needs and issues to leadership.
• Other duties as assigned
