• Ability to read and apply departmental policies and procedures.
• Willingness to obtain required California driver’s license and certifications.

• Supervise Crew Members on an assigned shift.
• Direct firefighting crew in the suppression of wildland fires and other emergency responses.
• Be a contributing rater on performance appraisals.
• Plan and assign work.
• Provide instructions and training to subordinate personnel.

Ausbildung

High school diploma or equivalent

Fire service certifications (I-300 ICS, IS-800, S-212, S-215, S-230, S-290, CPR/First Aid)
