Job summary

Snohomish County PUD #1 is seeking a Professional Engineer (Wildfire Mitigation) to lead and advance the district's wildfire mitigation program. The role focuses on risk assessment, program governance, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure safe, reliable electric service.

The position requires a PE license, a relevant engineering degree, and substantial industry experience. The incumbent will supervise projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with agencies to meet regulatory

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering related field is required.
Six (6) years of related engineering experience; or ten (10) years of directly related engineering experience.
Valid Washington State Driver's License with a good driving record.
Washington State Professional Engineering (PE) License.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering, project management, and technical services for district facilities and systems.
Lead wildfire mitigation program development, governance, and risk assessment activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to implement PSPS and mitigation strategies.
Mentor and review work of junior engineers and represent the district in professional groups.
