Job summary

Snohomish County PUD #1 in Everett, WA is hiring a Professional Engineer (Wildfire Mitigation) to lead the District's wildfire program. You will oversee risk assessments, PSPS considerations, and program governance enabling safe, reliable electric utility operations.

The candidate will hold a Washington PE license, a relevant engineering degree, and substantial related experience, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration critical to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field is required.
• Six (6) years of related engineering experience, or ten (10) years of directly related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, project management services for design, maintenance and improvements of District facilities and systems.
• Lead medium to large projects and review/approve work of unlicensed engineers.
• Represent the District in conferences, technical and business groups.
• Lead and advance the Wildfire Mitigation Program, ensuring risk reduction and regulatory alignment.
