Job summary

Snohomish County PUD #1 seeks a Professional Engineer (Wildfire Mitigation) to lead and advance the District’s wildfire mitigation program, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and enterprise risk management. The role focuses on strategic leadership, risk assessments, PSPS protocols, and measurable risk reduction across facilities and systems.

The candidate must hold a WA PE license with 6+ years of engineering experience (or 10 years in related roles) and a valid WA driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field and 6 years related experience.
• OR 10 years of directly related engineering experience.
• Valid Washington driver's license and WA PE license.

Responsibilities

• Lead wildfire mitigation program strategy and governance for reliability and safety.
• Manage cross-functional planning, risk assessments and program improvements.
• Provide technical engineering leadership and mentorship to staff.
