Job summary

Amentum is seeking a WIDS Specialist Level II to administer Bastille WIDS, lead Monitoring & Response, and analyze wireless threats for the Skywalker program. The role requires DoD/IC policy knowledge, TS/SCI w/ Poly, and the ability to work on a geographically separated team.

Responsibilities include monitoring the Bastille platform, generating reports, and coordinating with government stakeholders to resolve wireless security issues. Travel worldwide is required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and administering the Bastille WIDS platform.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols, RF theory, and wireless threat detection.
• Experience supporting Monitoring & Response and wireless security operations.
• Ability to analyze security events and prepare technical reports.
• Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills.
• Ability to travel worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Monitor WIDS environments using the Bastille platform to detect unauthorized wireless activity.
• Analyze RF-based threats and recommend mitigation and response actions.
• Support Monitoring & Response activities and wireless incident investigations.
• Generate site-level operational reports, metrics, and incident summaries.
• Maintain WIDS documentation, SOPs, and reporting templates.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Operate wireless monitoring and direction-finding equipment in security operations.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and IC policies and procedures.
