Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a social, community, health, education, or nutritional field and five years of WIC or related health experience with two years of management experience.
• Eleven years total education/experience may substitute for the required education and experience.
• Valid driver's license and Defensive Driving Course certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional WIC operations and nine clinics with 22 personnel.
• Develop and enforce WIC policies and provide staff training and technical support.
• Manage full employee life-cycle including hiring and performance evaluation; optimize clinic workflows.
• Resolve complex stakeholder issues to uphold policy, compliance, and service quality.
• Align program activities with New Mexico's WIC State Plan and strategic goals.
