Job summary

Nevada Health Centers is hiring a WIC Worker for our Bonanza site in Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role focuses on welcoming participants, collecting and verifying required documents, and determining WIC eligibility while upholding HIPAA and quality standards.

The position supports clinic teams, processes EBT, and guides participants through recertification and nutrition contacts. Flexibility to relocate among NVHC clinics is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to relocate to clinics as needed.
• Ability to travel for multiple days as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist participants at the WIC clinic and verify eligibility paperwork.
• Verify documentation for WIC eligibility (ID, Medicaid letter, income verifications).
• Explain WIC processes, use of EBT, recertification and nutrition contact requirements.
• Schedule and reschedule participant appointments and manage records flow.
• Input data into computer systems and maintain accurate records and paper flow.
