Nevada Health Centers is seeking a WIC Worker for the Bonanza location in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves front desk duties, assisting participants, verifying eligibility, and processing EBT while following WIC policies.

The position may require relocation to other clinics as needed, with a focus on accurate record-keeping, patient education, and coordination with clinic staff. Nevada Health Centers offers comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer data entry skills and basic office procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
• Ability to travel to multiple clinic locations.
• Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in participants at the WIC site.
• Verify participant eligibility documents and HIPAA forms.
• Assist with EBT processing and scheduling future appointments.
• Input data and maintain WIC records in the database.
• Promote breastfeeding and refer participants to CLC, RD or CPA as needed.
• Attend required State WIC training and complete training modules.
