Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University is seeking a Program Manager for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplementation Nutrition Program. This role ensures state and federal requirements are met, staff are trained, and clients receive benefits appropriately.

This is a highly regulated program, so accurate documentation, understanding of policies and procedures, and a high level of organization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in foods/nutrition or health-related field.
• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Experience in WIC or public health nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and evaluates WIC program activities with the Public Health Director.
• Coordinates with other County Health Department programs and services per guidelines.
• Plans, assigns, reviews and coordinates the work of WIC staff; trains staff and evaluates performance.
• Maintains caseload management and ensures outreach and documentation.
• Ensures quality nutrition education and annual education plan submissions.
