The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and solid customer service skills. Prior experience and basic math abilities are preferred; ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for periods is required.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform measurements and basic math.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly; long periods of standing and sitting.

Responsibilities

• Explain program purpose and WIC rules to clients.
• Verify identification, residency, income eligibility; screen applicants.
• Record hematological and anthropometric measurements.
• Provide nutrition and breastfeeding guidance per policy.
• Explain food instruments and E-WIC card procedures.
• Document referrals and schedule appointments; attend trainings.
