The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, bilingual English/Spanish abilities, and solid customer service skills. Prior experience and basic math abilities are preferred; ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for periods is required.

The Program Assistant is responsible for the collection of data and the performance of screenings for client eligibility determination. The position performs duties to assure the delivery of WIC benefits and nutrition education to eligible clients in accordance with organizational goals and program procedures.
