Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Florida DOH/WIC policies and procedures.
• Proficient in computer systems used for WIC and case management.
• Excellent customer service and ability to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility and enroll clients in the WIC program following policy and procedures.
• Complete duties for WIC certification, including eligibility assessment and documentation.
• Issue WIC identification cards and manage EBT card issuance and inventory.
• Promote and support breastfeeding programs; assist with breast pump inventory and displays.
• Recruit, mentor and monitor peer counselors; conduct voter registration activities.
• Perform anthropometric measurements and finger-stick hemoglobin tests; document in FL-Wise.
• Maintain accurate client records and attendance at staff meetings.
