Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) professional to join the Global Standards & Procedures (S&P) team to play a critical role in creating, implementing, and reviewing WHS programs that will serve as the foundation of all Amazon operations worldwide.

The successful candidate will work across teams to gain alignment, develop, and execute a common plan across multiple stakeholders, delivering WHS programs with cross-functional collaboration and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver medium to large, cross-functional WHS procedures that serve major parts of the business.
• Develop, review, approve and improve internal policies and procedures in the respect of the countries WHS legal and Amazon Global Standards requirements.
• Implement and track WHS programs and provide execution support to field operations.
• Drive WHS programs and best practice standardization at both Regional and Global level.
• Recommend improvements to programs scoping, building, testing and deployment across the company.
• Partner with key stakeholders such as RME, Procurement, SLeD, Compliance Assurance, Audits, Legal, etc in the development and continued improvement of high-risk operations procedures.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
