Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) professional to join the Global Standards & Procedures (S&P) team. You will develop, implement, and review WHS programs that form the foundation for Amazon operations worldwide.

The role requires strong health and safety management experience, program management skills, and the ability to align across multiple stakeholders. You’ll work to deliver fit-for-purpose WHS programs and drive standardization at global and regional levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery; communicating results to senior leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver medium to large, cross-functional WHS procedures.
• Develop, review, approve and improve internal policies and procedures per WHS laws and Amazon Standards.
• Implement and track WHS programs and provide execution support to field operations.
• Drive WHS program standardization at regional and global levels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (RME, Procurement, Compliance, Audits, Legal) in high-risk ops.
• Travel up to 10%.
