Job Overview
The Wholesale Operations Manager will oversee and support Milk Bar’s Wholesale business, ensuring seamless order management, account growth, and customer satisfaction. This role focuses on onboarding new customers, managing daily account operations, and increasing Average Order Value (AOV). The candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize order fulfillment, enhance customer experience, and support sales growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all Wholesale accounts, ensuring effective communication, strong partnerships, and timely issue resolution. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize order patterns and increase reorder frequency.
- Oversee customer onboarding, ensuring accurate account setup, pricing, and compliance with contracts. Drive AOV growth through data-driven upselling and SKU performance analysis.
- Manage end-to-end order processing and fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Collaborate with 3PL providers to track orders, resolve issues, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor inventory levels for core products, prevent stockouts, and analyze sales trends to support demand planning and reduce excess inventory.
- Ensure accurate order entry, fulfillment, and invoicing. Coordinate freight shipments (LTL, TL, small parcel) with Logistics, leveraging cost analysis to reduce fulfillment costs.
- Track wholesale fulfillment KPIs, identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency with Operations, Finance, and Sales teams.
- Publish weekly Month-to-Date (MTD) Sales Reports for wholesale, providing insights into sales, AOV trends, and fulfillment costs to inform decisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with key wholesale partners. Support promotional activities, product launches, and seasonal demand shifts, using data insights to optimize order cadence and revenue.

Skills & Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods company, with a blend of traditional and startup Food Service experience. Cold chain experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Operations-related field.
- Self-starter capable of working effectively remotely with decentralized teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with a structured approach and adaptability.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects, pivot as needed.
- Confident decision-maker with good judgment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, G Suite, QuickBooks, Shopify, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills across cross-functional teams, suppliers, and vendors.
- Motivated, resourceful, and able to perform well in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
