Job summary

Steve Madden in New York's LIC office is seeking an Operations Coordinator to keep the division organized and support the Wholesale Footwear business. The role requires on-site presence and collaboration across divisions, vendors, and internal teams on samples, events, and administrative tasks.

You will manage multiple priorities with strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, while handling calendars, invoicing, and trade-show logistics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Work in trade shows and events preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize samples and coordinate with divisions/vendors.
• Daily communication with vendors and internal teams across divisions.
• Administrative work—booking appointments, calendar management, inventory, etc.
• Assist planning and execution of events and trade shows.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support when needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
