Job summary

Steve Madden in Long Island City, NY is seeking an Operations Coordinator to keep the division organized and assist with special projects. This on-site role supports the Wholesale Footwear business and requires strong administrative and communications skills.

Key responsibilities include sample management, vendor coordination, event planning, and calendar organization, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines. A Bachelor’s degree and MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Work in trade shows, shoe shows preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize samples, and track with other divisions/vendors.
• Daily communication with vendors and internal staff across divisions.
• Administrative work – calendar management, inventory, etc.
• Assist planning and execution of events and trade shows.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
