Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking an Operations Coordinator to keep the division organized and support team members on special projects throughout the year. This on-site role is based in our LIC office, supporting the Wholesale Footwear business.

Responsibilities include sample handling, vendor communications, calendar management, and event planning. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong Microsoft Office skills, and superb organizational abilities to handle multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Trade shows experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize samples and tracks with other divisions/vendors.
• Daily communication with vendors and internal employees across divisions.
• Administrative tasks including booking appointments, calendar management, inventory.
• Assist planning and execution of events and trade shows.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with support as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
