Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a Wholesale Senior Finance Manager to bridge financial strategy with daily wholesale operations in NYC. You will partner with Sales, Logistics, and Operations to support budgeting, reporting, inventory management, and process optimization.

The role emphasizes analytical insight, cross‑functional partnership, and ad hoc projects shaping strategic decisions for profitability and efficiency. On-site presence in the NYC office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years in FP&A with wholesale or revenue-driven business experience.
• Strong modeling, analytics, and forecasting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting & forecasting: prepare annual budgets and forecasts for wholesale accounts.
• Reporting & analysis: analyze P&L by wholesale account and provide insights.
• Month‑end & period‑end: close entries, inventory reserves, MDAs, and commissions.
• Business partnership: advise Sales, Operations, and Logistics with data-driven improvements.
