Job summary

Steve Madden Store in New York is seeking a Store Manager (full-time) to oversee staff and all store operations, delivering an exceptional customer experience and achieving sales and profitability goals.

You will lead, coach, and develop a team, maintain high standards, and ensure effective merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention while aligning with brand values and company directives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4-6 years of retail experience including staff supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
