Job summary

Carzby is seeking a Wholesale Automotive Title Clerk in Michigan to manage titles and ownership documents for wholesale and auction vehicle transactions. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and familiarity with title, lien releases, and reassignment paperwork.

The ideal candidate will handle title processing efficiently, coordinate with auctions and dealers, and maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with state requirements and dealership procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive title experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Michigan title procedures preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple titles and transactions simultaneously.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable with computers, spreadsheets, email and online auction/title systems.

Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles for wholesale, auction, dealer-to-dealer, and other B2B transactions.
• Review titles and documents for accuracy: signatures, dates, VINs, mileage, and lien info.
• Process title assignments, reassignment forms and related paperwork.
• Obtain and process lien releases when required.
• Track titles from purchase through sale to final delivery.
• Maintain organized title files for audit and recordkeeping.
• Communicate with auctions and purchasing dealers on status.
• Assist with out-of-state title requirements when applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality of dealership and customer information.
• Follow all dealership policies and state/federal requirements.
