Job Title: Account Manager

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Wholesale Director

Company: Winky Lux

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates based in the NYC area)

Salary Range: $72,000 - $95,000

Summary: The Account Manager will build omni-channel plans and strategies across all retail accounts alongside the Wholesale Director. This role will work alongside the cross-functional sales, marketing, digital, operations, and finance teams on key projects to build brand passion and awareness while driving retail sales growth, omni strategies, and net shipments.

Will be a part of building a rapidly growing brand, and helping to lead our channel strategy through to day-to-day execution. This role is part of the Wholesales Team, reporting directly to the Wholesale Director. Candidates should be flexible and available to work in the office at least one day per week.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Omni Channel Management with a focus on best-in-class retail account partnership, fostering excellent working relationships with all members of merchant teams.
  • Manage the sell-in and assist in sell-thru strategies for the retail accounts across both B&M and Dotcom to support omni-revenue and growth targets
  • Compile all daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales reports including competitive retail reports and mix of business.
  • Interact with buying office & internal teams in all aspects of the ordering process to ensure the company's net and retail goals are met.
  • Ensure deep knowledge and understanding of products, functions, and ingredients across 70+ skus in preparation for tradeshows, education events, and market meetings.
  • Play an instrumental role in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for each account, defining innovative and best-in-class retail plans and digital campaigns, supporting retailer activity calendars, and managing/ defining total retail promotional strategy and activations.
  • Execute and manage all planogram updates and work with the Sales Coordinator to ensure all add/delete forms are submitted to accounts promptly.
  • Responsible for the overall stock levels and ensuring the appropriate product mix of stock is available in the stores/online by assuring timely ordering, proactively monitoring, and resolving low or out-of-stock conditions.
  • Assistance in budget, forecast, and projection planning alongside the Sales Director.
  • Plan, execute, and attend all retailer's trade shows.
  • Work with fixture manufacturers and store merchandiser companies to ensure accurate and timely updates of all retailer's seasonal updates.
  • Coordinate with product development teams on new product launches and box subscriptions.
  • Oversee omni-product assortments maximizing productivity, mix, and presentation driving innovation focused on optimizing current programs, and building/ testing new programs and opportunities.
  • Facilitate strong cross-functional collaboration across Sales, e-commerce, Marketing, Operations, and Education.

Qualifications

  • Ability to travel as needed across the U.S. and Canada (up to 30%)
  • 2-3 years of account management experience, ideally within the beauty industry
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Ulta and/or Shoppers Drug Mart preferred
  • Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented with impeccable project management, communication, and presentation skills
  • A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, go-getter attitude - always looking for new opportunities and innovative solutions
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Salary: $72500 - $95000 per year
