Sales Director / Account Manager | Local Candidates - New York, NY | Remote

Requirements
  • Experience in building, selling, and negotiating complex, multi-year hardware, software, delivery services, managed security services, and staffing solutions to Fortune 1000 clients.
  • The Sales Director will focus on selling WaveStrong's professional services, managed security services, and product solutions to named accounts within a geographic territory. Responsibilities include cultivating new business, leveraging existing clients, and managing all sales cycle aspects within the assigned territory and accounts.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a large sales pipeline within the territory, achieving and exceeding a $4M annual margin goal.
  • Effectively communicate WaveStrong's value across its three Practice Areas: Information Security Professional Services, Value Added Reseller/System Integrator, and Managed Security Services.
  • Develop strong relationships with security technology partners and field sales teams to generate leads and sales opportunities.
  • Adopt a consultative sales approach to foster long-term growth and client roadmaps.
  • Maintain relationships throughout all sales phases, including post-delivery interactions.
  • Proven experience in selling services and solutions to Fortune 1000 clients.
  • Build and execute territory and account plans, consistently exceeding quotas.
  • Monitor and coordinate communication between clients, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Maintain internal communication regarding opportunities and requirements.
Qualifications
  • Deep knowledge of the IT Security market and competitors.
  • Strong relationships with key regional executives and sponsors.
  • Experience in Risk/Compliance and IT Infrastructure markets.
  • Award-winning sales initiative and ability recognition.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% within the region.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
