As an Account Executive for Strategic Partners and Alliances at Bluewave Technology Group, you will drive new revenue by forming partnerships with firms that influence technology purchasing decisions. You’ll focus on building relationships with technology consulting firms, private equity and venture capital firms, law firms, and recruiting agencies to create a referral network that connects Bluewave to IT decision-makers early in their planning cycles. The goal: Position Bluewave’s Advisory Services as a critical partner in their clients’ technology lifecycles.
This role requires a demonstrable understanding of the IT advisory/telecommunications industry and the highest integrity at all times. Your stellar communication and organization skills enable you to excel at all communications, internal and external to the organization, and exhibit strong funnel management, forecasting, and quota attainment.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify and cultivate new referral partnership opportunities across North America
- Generate qualified leads and build pipeline through partner-referred contacts
- Develop and execute a referral network development plan, including prioritized target firms
- Craft compelling outreach messaging that communicates Bluewave’s value proposition
- Present the Bluewave “Decision Confidence” model and secure signed referral agreements
- Attend trade shows and segment-specific networking events to build relationships
- Collaborate with Bluewave Marketing on go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and events
- Maintain accurate activity and opportunity data in Salesforce
- Perform all other duties as assigned
This is a remote position and open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

What You’ll Bring
- At least 5 years of success in consultative selling and/or partner development
- Strong understanding of data networking, UCaaS, CCaaS, CX, PaaS, cloud, AI, and telecommunications
- Disciplined in the use of Salesforce for sales activity tracking and forecasting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows PC environments
It's Also Helpful If You’ve Got
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
Eligibility
We are not sponsoring work visas for this position at this time.
Compensation And Benefits
- Base Salary: $90,000–$125,000 (depending on experience)
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $175,000-$200,000+
- Commission for sales generated through referral partnerships
