Job summary

Capsule is hiring a Processing Pharmacy Technician to provide white-glove service through an efficient prescription workflow, optimize customer satisfaction, and navigate complex pharmacy issues. Responsibilities include entering prescriptions, verifying insurance, and communicating with customers and pharmacists across phone, text, chat, and email while upholding HIPAA guidelines.

You will work with cross-functional teams to drive a seamless customer and provider experience, ensuring accuracy

Qualifications

• Located in New York.
• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• PTCB certification preferred but not required.
• Familiar with SIG codes and medication names.
• Proficient with Windows PC applications and learning new systems.
• Reliable computer with audio/video capability and high-speed internet.
• Full-Time flexible availability with rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Translate and enter prescription information into the pharmacy database per state regulations.
• Verify insurance information and process insurance claims.
• Communicate with customers, external partners, and pharmacists via phone, text, chat, and email to resolve issues while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain high SLA standards by addressing tasks promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure a seamless customer and provider experience.
