Job summary

Capsule is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to ensure accurate and timely prescription delivery. You will interpret prescriptions, process orders in computer systems, and prepare labels and packaging.

The role includes QA checks, contacting prescribers/patients when needed, and ensuring secure delivery. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year experience in counting/packing medications with prior authorizations; a state PTA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Interpret and enter prescription information complying with state regulations.
• Familiar with SIG codes, brand vs. generic names, and pharmacy terminology.
• Proficient with a computer and Windows PC applications for prescription processing.
• 1+ years counting/packing medications and prior authorizations; able to work with complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enter prescription information in compliance with state regulations.
• Process prescriptions using multiple computer systems and generate labels.
• Package and deliver medications following standard procedures.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and resolve third-party rejections.
• Prepare manual prescriptions by verifying details and stocking medications.
