Job summary

Capsule, a modern pharmacy, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to ensure accurate and timely prescription deliveries. You'll interpret prescriptions, enter data, and coordinate with prescribers and patients as needed.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year experience, and active Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of employment. Proficiency with Windows and pharmacy computer systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ year experience in counting/packing medications.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician licensed in the state of employment.
• Familiar with SIG codes, brand and generic names of medications.
• Proficient with computer systems and Windows PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Interpret prescription information and enter data in compliance with state regulations.
• Process prescriptions using computer systems, compare orders, and generate labels.
• Package and deliver medications following standard procedures for safe delivery.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and resolve third-party rejections with prescribers/patients as needed.
• Prepare manual prescription orders by verifying information and scanning/packaging.
