About the Role

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Interpreting and entering prescription information in compliance with state regulations.
  • Using various computer systems to process prescriptions, compare orders, and generate labels.
  • Packaging and delivering medications following standard procedures to ensure safe and secure delivery.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks, reaching out to prescribers and patients when needed, and resolving third‑party rejections.
  • Preparing manual prescription orders by verifying information, pulling the required medications from inventory, and completing necessary scanning and packaging.

Available to work within operating hours: Charlotte, NC Pharmacy Hours: M-F 10a-6p S&S CLOSED

Requirements
  • High School Diploma / GED and 1+ years of prior experience in counting/packing medications and prior authorizations.
  • Certified pharmacy technician within the state of employment.
  • Familiarity with general pharmacy terminology (SIG codes, brand, and generic names of medications).
  • Proficiency with a computer and Windows PC applications and ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
  • Availability to work within operating hours: Charlotte, NC Pharmacy Hours: M-F 10a-6p.
