Job summary

ConnectiveRx is seeking a Patient Support Specialist in the Pittsburgh area to help patients access prescribed medications through copay assistance programs. You will engage with patients, physicians, and pharmacies to provide program information, eligibility guidance, reimbursement support, and overall patient experience from start to finish.

The role requires strong empathy, excellent communication, and experience in healthcare or case management within a busy contact center.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1+ years in healthcare or case management in a high-volume contact center environment preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy benefits, health care insurance, or medical billing is a plus.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound calls from patients, physicians, and pharmacies to assist access to care and reimbursement needs.
• Demonstrate empathy and a focus on the patient experience to ensure ease of program use and higher adherence.
• Refer escalation requests to internal teams to resolve issues and support programs and clients.
• Perform other duties as needed.
