Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in an operations or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required.
• Good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate production materials.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to complete records accurately.
• Able to calibrate, read and operate various lab instruments and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Operate bottling, coopering, processing, and distilling equipment and communicate effectively with visitors to showcase craftsmanship.
• Monitor fermentation processes to maintain proper temperatures, times, and sequences; adjust distillation column as needed.
• Maintain logs for procedures, raw materials, and product; ensure water supply for production and fire protection.
• Adhere to safety guidelines, participate in training, identify hazards and communicate with Health & Safety Manager.
• Wear required PPE (steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves).
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure adherence to quality standards and participate in monthly audits.
• Clean and maintain work areas and equipment daily following GMPs; perform sanitation tasks.
