Job summary

Printfresh LLC in Philadelphia is seeking a highly skilled illustrator and textile designer to create original prints and embroideries for Sleepwear and Apparel collections. You’ll develop artwork from concepts to production-ready designs, bringing storytelling, bold color, and meticulous detail to seasonal lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in illustration, textile design, fashion, or related field.
• Proven experience creating original print and embroidery design for women’s apparel.
• Strong illustration and drawing skills with a distinctive point of view and ability to convey whimsy and humor in patterns.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong project management and organizational skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication abilities; capable of collaborating across teams.
• 7–10+ years of textile design experience in women’s fashion brands preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 10-12+ detailed sleepwear and apparel prints monthly through drawing/painting/digital illustration.
• Develop original prints for collections with partners, collaborations, and licensing.
• Assist with trims design and sourcing as needed.
• Follow design calendars; ensure deadlines and production readiness.
• Brainstorm and pitch concepts for new collections with rough references.
• Present seasonal concepts to Buying/Merchandising teams per seasonal calendars.
• Prepare final print assortments and ensure renderings are ready for presentations.
• Collaborate with teams to revise print collections for cohesive storytelling.
