Job summary

Printfresh is seeking a highly skilled illustrator and textile designer to create original prints and embroideries for Sleepwear and Apparel collections in our Philadelphia office. You will develop concepts through finished, production-ready designs, bringing whimsy, strong color sense, and storytelling to seasonal lines and collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Illustration, Textile Design, Fine Arts, Fashion, or related field.
• Experience creating original print and embroidery design for the women's apparel industry.
• Strong illustration and drawing skills with a whimsical, versatile point of view.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication abilities.
• 7-10+ years of textile design experience for women's fashion brands preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 10-12+ detailed sleepwear and apparel prints monthly through drawing, painting, or digital illustration.
• Develop original prints for collaborations with partners, influencers, and department stores.
• Assist with designing and sourcing trims as needed.
• Follow design calendar and ensure timely completion of artwork.
• Brainstorm and pitch concepts for new collections with rough concepts and references.
• Present seasonal print assortments to Buying/Merchandising with ready renderings.
