Job summary

Glanbia Dairy Nutrition is seeking a Production Team Leader at the Richfield Plant. You will supervise whey-processing lines, ensure product quality, and maintain safety and sanitation standards across the facility.

The role requires ability to operate multiple dairy processing machines, monitor HACCP/GMP compliance, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams. Weekend/overtime work may be required.

Qualifications

• Accurate in taking samples and performing required tests.
• Knowledge of USDA, FDA, SQF and customer requirements for a food manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of Sustainability and EPA requirements for a manufacturing plant.
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment.
• Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed.
• Ability to read and write instructions in English.
• Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals.
• Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to process whey into WPI powder and salibra; includes pasteurizers, CIP systems, UF, ROK, MF, VMF, polisher and dryers.
• Take assigned in-processing samples.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust as needed.
• Keep work area clean and compliant with HACCP, GMP and safety programs.
• Follow Safe Quality Foods, FDA, and related food safety regulations.
