Job summary

Glanbia is seeking a proven shift leader to oversee daily production operations in Richfield, ID. You will coach hourly employees, drive process improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and budget targets are met.

The role requires hands-on leadership, adherence to GMP, HACCP, SQF, SOPs, and strong problem-solving. You will coordinate schedules, perform audits, and partner with maintenance and logistics to sustain a zero-loss culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a hard science preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years related experience or training.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to interpret SOPs and maintain GMP compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and coach hourly employees.
• Identify and implement process optimization projects.
• Maintain plant safety programs and ensure OSHA/industry standards compliance.
• Coordinate production within budget parameters and schedules.
• Conduct audits to ensure SOP adherence and safe practices.
• Provide performance coaching and development for hourly staff.
• Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and QA to sustain quality and efficiency.
