Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Wheel Balancer in our Cincinnati area operations. You will set up machines to meet tolerances, balance wheels from 12” to 36” OD, and use MIG welding or grinding to adjust material as needed. This is an entry-level role with room to learn MIG welding as a trade.

You’ll work in a safety-conscious environment, perform documentation per procedures, and collaborate with team members to meet on-time delivery and customer satisfaction targets.

Qualifications

• 1 year manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude, able to use grinders and other hand tools
• Technical mindset and problem solving
• Read work orders, drawings, and specifications
• Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area
• Verify material, sizes, and parts match tickets
• Balance wheels based on sizes 12” to 36” OD
• Read tickets and instructions and document work
• Perform light maintenance on equipment
• Complete tasks with minimum supervision
