Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager, Workforce Management Financial Planning in Bentonville, AR, to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for Marketplace Global WFM. You will translate demand into headcount, labor costs, and vendor spend, building models to support hiring and outsourcing decisions.

You will partner with Finance, Operations, Data Analytics, Product, and Technology to align workforce investments with business demand and service levels, delivering actionable recommendations

Qualifications

• Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Understanding of workforce planning, capacity management, headcount modeling, or labor cost management.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Ability to connect operational demand, workforce requirements, and financial outcomes.
• Ability to identify emerging risks and opportunities and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Experience partnering with Finance, Operations, Data Analytics, Product, Technology, and senior leadership.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to financial accuracy and accountability.
• Clear written, verbal, and executive level communication skills.
• SQL, data visualization, or business intelligence experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget planning, forecasting, and financial performance reporting for Marketplace Global WFM.
• Monitor actual spending against budget, identify variances, and proactively communicate financial impacts, risks, opportunities, and changing assumptions.
• Translate demand forecasts and capacity requirements into headcount, labor cost, and vendor spend plans.
• Develop financial models supporting hiring, productivity, outsourcing, and resource allocation decisions.
• Partner with Finance and Operations on annual and long range planning.
• Maintain visibility into workforce cost drivers and deliver clear executive insights and recommendations that strengthen financial accountability and keep the organization within budget.
