Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, seeks an MDE Shift Engineer to enable 24/7 development for DRAM technologies in Wet Etch/CMP/Bond. Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related engineering field or Bachelor's with semiconductor experience.
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Solid understanding of Wet Process, CMP, or Bond semiconductor manufacturing.
• Familiarity with DOE, E3 FD, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary off-shift engineering decision-maker for development activities.
• Collaborate with Wet Etch/CMP/Bond Process Development, Process Integration, Equipment Development, Manufacturing, and Shift Operations teams.
• Apply SPC, E3, and fault detection (FD) systems to investigate excursions and improve yield.
• Maintain documentation, recipes, and cross-shift communication while escalating critical issues.
• Lead or participate in development projects and data collection to improve efficiency.
• Leverage model-based problem solving, data analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance decisions.
