Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Idaho is seeking a Senior Dry Etch MDE Shift Engineer to drive daily operations in development wafer execution, monitor process performance, and ensure high-quality data delivery to engineering teams.

You will collaborate with process, integration, and equipment groups across shifts, mentor engineers, and pursue improvements in development execution, cycle time, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, materials science, or related field.
• 5+ years of semiconductor experience with dry etch process or manufacturing support.
• Experience using data analysis and root cause methodologies to solve technical problems.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support dry etch development wafer execution and daily operational priorities
• Monitor process performance, data quality, and customer concern handling across shifts
• Partner with process, integration, and equipment teams to resolve technical issues
• Drive improvements in development execution, cycle time, and operational efficiency
• Mentor engineers and support collaboration across the team
