Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Manufacturing Development Engineering Shift Engineer to support 24/7 development for next‑gen DRAM. You’ll be the primary off‑hours resource, handling wafer disposition, tool release, and process deviations while coordinating with allied teams across Films, Metals, and Implant.

You’ll apply SPC, DOE, and advanced analytics to improve yield and learning velocity, balancing development priorities with operations.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in a related engineering field.
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes, especially Films/Metals/Implant.
Familiarity with SPC, DOE, E3 FD systems and data-driven decision making.
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary off-hours technical resource for development activities and wafer disposition decisions.
Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve process and equipment issues and support experiments.
Apply SPC, E3 and FD systems to investigate excursions and improve yield.
Maintain documentation, recipes and procedures with change control and safety in mind.
Support continuous improvement projects and AI-enabled engineering tools adoption.
