Job summary

Westfall Technik in Riverside, CA is seeking an Automation Engineer responsible for troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and overhaul of electro-mechanical equipment. You will read electronic schematics and identify components to manage and execute projects.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of low/high voltage wiring, ability to read electrical prints, experience with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence), mills and lathes, EOAT changeovers, and proactive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical degree or certificate a plus.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical prints.
• Experience with EOAT changeovers and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and overhaul electro-mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and identify components for projects.
• Perform EOAT changeovers and preventive automation maintenance.
• Inspect equipment and plan solutions to prevent downtime.
• Maintain a safe, clean shop and effective communication.

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The Automation Engineer is responsible for troubleshooting repair preventative maintenance and overhaul work on electronicelectromechanical equipment Position will read and interpret electronic schematics and identify components to manage and assemble projects

PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES
